Restorative Yoga provides deep physical and subtle emotional support, so it is the perfect antidote for anyone who is overly busy, stressed, exhausted, depleted or feeling disconnected from themselves. This is designed to refine your teaching, or as a way to deepen your own personal experience. Learn the scientific and somatic language of the body and apply this knowledge through practical experience.
Stress disorders, including insomnia, anxiety and depression, are the most common mental illness in the US, affecting 40 million adults 18 and older (18% of US population).
Our training will teach practices to address:
Panic Attacks, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), Rumination, Poor Sleep Quality
Elevated Anxiety/Stress Levels, Stress/Anxiety Triggers
Sakhi 200 Hour YTT
The Sakhi Program is an 8-month, comprehensive curriculum of study and practice, providing a uniquely focused exploration into the life-changing practice of yoga.
The Sakhi program was created by Maxine Deutschendorf and Pamela Cauthen Meriwether, E-RYT 500, who leads most of the segments in the curriculum. Guest lecturers also contribute to the 70+ years of combined teaching expertise in our faculty.
