Refund Policy

Fit Columbia is fortunate to have a large practice space in which classes are held. However, there is a limit to not only how much equipment we have, but also how many bodies can safely and comfortably work out per class. Fit Columbia respects and values the schedules and comfort of all its patrons and teachers. Because space, equipment, and time at our studio can be limited, we do not offer refunds for last-minute cancellations or no-shows if you have reserved a spot in one of our classes.

Prepaid classes, workshops, and services are non-refundable. They are transferable to a friend or family member (not to another class). We welcome you to gift your session to someone else.

In rare circumstances, classes and other events could occasionally be cancelled by Fit Columbia. If your event is cancelled, you will be notified by email, and you will receive a full refund or full credit to use toward another Fit Columbia class or event.

We are grateful for every client who walks into our studio, and we will work hard to give you the best experience possible for every class, personal training session, or workshop you attend. Please see below to learn more about the Fit Columbia refund policy.

Gift Cards Refunds

Gift Cards are non-refundable and non-returnable.

Private Instruction Cancellations and Refunds

Your private session time and the teacher's time is reserved for you. Full payment will be charged if you cancel a personal training session with less than 24 hour notice. If you are late for a personal training session, the instruction will end at the original time. If you are more than 15 minutes late to personal training, it is at the instructor’s discretion whether to hold an abbreviated session or not.

Classes and Group Workout Reservations

Because space, equipment, and instructor attention may be limited, our classes have caps on the number of clients who can attend at once. That’s why it is important to reserve a space in our classes using Vagaro. Once the cap number is registered for a class, we ask that remaining students take a different class. Please note: All payments must be paid on or before their due date to reserve your space.

Drop-ins.

Space permitting, drop-ins are welcome. We are not able to reserve space for drop-ins in advance. We recommend that drop-ins arrive about 15 minutes early to sign in for class. Drop-ins may sign in up to 30 minutes before the scheduled class start time.

Late Arrivals.

We recommend that you arrive at least 5-10 minutes early to class. If you are registered for a class and you know you will be late, call the studio at (803) 394-1247, and we will gladly save your space. If we do not hear from you before class begins and the class is full, your space may be given to someone who is waiting.

In order to maintain a sacred classroom space, avoid disruption and reduce the likelihood of injury, we cannot always accept late arrivals and will not allow entry more than 10 minutes after a class begins. Out of respect towards yourself, your teacher, and fellow students please arrive early and stay through the end of class.

Inclement Weather

In an effort to keep everyone safe during inclement weather, we may need to cancel classes from time to time. If Richland County public offices and schools are closed, it is likely that day classes may be cancelled. Evening classes will be held as scheduled unless we notify you otherwise via Facebook or email.

Waivers

Every person who practices in our studio must sign a waiver before they take work out at Fit Columbia, without exception.
