SAFETY:
Our studio has been structurally tested by a local architecture firm for stability and safety. Our riggings have been professionally installed and receive regular check ups. Our custom built yoga wall was designed to hold 1000 pounds per panel and anchored through the concrete walls for additional safety. Our harnesses are professional quality and cycled out when worn out. Our yoga wall is designed for 1-2 optional inversions that keep you close to the wall in secured in the harness. Falls/injuries are uncommon. We are NOT a circus or acrobatics class. We encourage you to bring your own yoga mat. Each wall yoga instructor is yoga alliance certified and receive continuing education throughout the year to ensure the best experience for each of our clients. Your safety is our first priority.

Drop in classes are $20, we offer 5 class pack for $74. We also have private classes at no additional charge, gather your friends and give us a call to schedule your appointment.

WHAT IS THE WALL?

Originated by B.K.S. Iyengar, the Yoga Rope Wall can be considered the mother of all yoga props.
The idea behind wall yoga is to use straps, harnesses and ropes attached to hooks on a 40 foot wall. These props assist students with their yoga practice. The use of the straps, combined with gravity, allows yogis to experience a truly vertical practice (think flipping your practice by 90 degrees). This allows students to experience near-weightlessness as they explore postures in totally new ways.  

Wall yoga allows you to hold poses longer (remember, the feeling of weightlessness!), to increase your strength, to strengthen different muscle groups that are typically used, and to improve flexibility (thanks to the use of props).
